Seminars and Conferences Photo

The Faculty actively engages with the teaching profession, government and industry organisations and the broader community by hosting regular seminars and conferences addressing emerging research findings and community concerns with regards to education. Through our visiting academics program and wide range of networks, we are able to bring speakers of national and international renown to participate in these events.

The Faculty, via the Continuing Professional Education section of QUT, has the resources, networks and expertise to host and manage international conferences.  A recent example of major conferences that the CPE unit is managing is the “Beach Safety and the Law Summit 2007” (endorsed by the Law Council of Australia)

Looking for a speaker for your event?

The Faculty can provide you with a speaker for your event at very reasonable commercial rates. If you are looking for an expert in an educational or allied field to participate in your event, you can contact us.
