For Future International Students

Courses
If you are interested in studying for a degree in education at QUT, you can access course information on Studyfinder. You can search the international student course database using keywords such as 'early childhood education', 'TESOL', 'education research' or other terms depending on your specific area of interest. You can also limit your search to undergraduate or postgraduate courses.
Useful course information is also contained in the International Prospectus.
Applying for a course
Applications to study education at QUT are received and processed by the central administration of the university, not by the Faculty of Education. A step-by-step guide is available to help you apply.
School-based field experience
Students who enrol in a course that has a field experience (practicum) component will require a Blue Card. This is a check conducted by the Queensland Government to assess the eligibility of adults who work with children. You must apply for a Blue Card as no student is permitted to do field studies without one.
For help in completing this form, refer to this guide for international students.
