ProfileI am an affiliated researcher with the Center for School-Based Youth Development http://education.ucsb.edu/csbyd/ at the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the directorship of Professor Michael Furlong. My interests are broad and cross the boundaries of education, psychology, and counselling. Classroom Management, optimism, anger, intelligence, and counselling theories and skills are some areas that I am involved in through my research and teaching. I have been directly involved in the development of the Australian version of the Multidimensional School Anger Inventory with researchers from the University of California Santa Barbara and the University of Hawaii. I would welcome students who have interests in any of the above areas, or similar areas, to contact me about possible postgraduate research projects.
